Since 1949, Mental Health America and our affiliates across the country have led the observance of May is Mental Health Month by reaching millions of people through the media, local events and screenings. If you have worked or are working through a community mental health program, sheltered or supported work program, rehabilitation program, or transitional employment program, we will consider the type and degree of support you have received or are receiving in order to work (see 12.00D).

Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, marriage & family therapists, clinical social workers, psychiatric nurses, vocational rehabilitation counselors, certified nurse assistants, mental health workers, consumers and case managers.mental health
